Backbends can offer profound physical and energetic benefits. With so much of our daily life seeing us slouching forward over screens and desks, Backbends can provide a powerful counter to strengthen the back muscles, increase spinal mobility and improve posture.
On a more subtle level, backbends are also associated with heart opening. They are naturally energising and bring space, expansion and radiance into our front body - often helping us to experience a sense of joy and openness in our practice
All levels welcome, options will be given throughout. Expect to leave feeling grounded, invigorated and restored.
